What Happens When I Close My Account?
Once your account is closed, it is no longer accessible by you or anyone else; you won't be able to access your user information, or anything related to features, products, services and accounts that are linked to your mobile number across the Alivio app.
Closing your account permanently means you won't have access to the products and services associated with your closed account, including:
- Your customer profile and preferences, all in-app settings, usage related history.
- Your plot details and bank details.
- Your available Alivio coins balance will no longer be available for you to redeem.
- Your crop related requests and other general issues.
- Your personalised services like plot-based data/insights related features including but not limited to soil moisture, weather forecast, soil moisture forecast, spray assistance, scout assistance etc.
- All notifications including in-app, SMS and WhatsApp.
It may take up to 45 days from the beginning of the deletion process to delete all the things related to your account. While we're deleting this information, it's not accessible for you to use Alivio. After 45 days, your account and its information will be permanently deleted, and you won't be able to retrieve it. You may need to start again by creating a new user account to enjoy Alivio services.
If it's been less than 45 days, since you initiated the deletion, and you choose to come back and use Alivio, you may need to install the latest version of the app from the Google Play store. If you complete the onboarding process and register yourself with the same phone number, we will automatically cancel your existing account deletion request and proceed with providing the products and services of the Alivio app to use again.
Please be advised that Bayer is legally required to retain some types of data, such as subscription related data, plot based satellite data and usage of alivio coins. We do this in line with applicable laws including fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal claim, compliance or regulatory proceedings.

Request Closure of Your Account
You can submit a request for us to permanently close your Alivio account and delete your personal information.
To submit a request to close your Alivio account and delete your personal information:
- Open the Alivio app.
- Click on Your Account on the top right of the screen on home page.
- Go to the Settings tab under Your Account.
- Click Delete my account, and then continue to account deletion.
- Confirm account deletion on next screen, which will initiate the deletion process and our customer support team will get in touch with you to facilitate the same.
